INSPIRED BY NATURE 

Madeleine works in layers, creating texture and applying washes to explore the emergence of organic imagery. 

This intuitive style enables her to be spontaneous and experimental. She often transforms and purposes materials to create new dimensions. Her current mediums are watercolour pencils, inks, watercolour paints, and acrylics. 
 
Photography was her first love and continues to be her inspiration; however, pushing the limits of water-based mediums has given her art a whole new dimension. 
 
For Madeleine, intuitive art is her therapy and helps her find a balance where mind and body become one. She encourages others to let go of fear and find the creative seed within. 
 
The Maritimes have always been her home away from home, her anchor, her inspiration. After living in Ottawa for over 16 years, she's happy to be back in the Maritimes and is pleased to call the South Shore home.
